Realm is concentrating on performing detailed reviews and re-interpretation of existing well log, mud log, core and geochemical data to identify promising shale targets both in the gas and oil windows. This new pair of eyes is generating a significant new opportunity set for the Company which is actively seeking to license lands on a large scale, under attractive terms which typically includes minimal acreage fees and fiscal terms similar to or better than North America. Realm believes international drilling, fraccing and completion providers are also shifting their focus to assist companies, such as Realm, in the challenge of exploring and commercializing these resources. Further, in Europe, oil and gas infrastructure is generally well developed and accessible, with gas prices generally much higher than in the US.
